About the iPhone 14 Pro

The iPhone 14 Pro launched in September 2022 and was the first iPhone with the Dynamic Island, the pill-shaped cutout that replaced the notch and shows alerts, timers and music around it. It also brought the Always-On display to iPhone, so the time and widgets stay visible when the phone is locked. The screen is a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED with 120 Hz ProMotion and peak outdoor brightness of 2000 nits, which makes a real difference under UAE sun.

It runs on the A16 Bionic chip with 6 GB of RAM. The camera system was a big jump: a 48 MP main camera (the first over 12 MP on an iPhone) with a larger sensor, a 12 MP ultra wide, a 12 MP 3x telephoto, and a LiDAR scanner for faster focus at night. It shoots ProRAW photos and ProRes video.

The frame is stainless steel, which is why it weighs 206 g and feels heavier than the standard 14. It charges over Lightning. Storage goes from 128 GB up to 1 TB. The UAE and international model A2890 has a nano-SIM tray plus eSIM. Colours are Space Black, Silver, Gold and Deep Purple.

Still worth buying in 2026?

Yes, and it is one of the best value phones on this site. You get the 48 MP camera, the 120 Hz screen, the Always-On display and the Dynamic Island, the features that still define a Pro iPhone, for less than the price of a new base model.

The A16 chip is the same one Apple put in the iPhone 15, so performance is not a concern, and it supports iOS 27. The two things it does not have are USB-C and Apple Intelligence. If you use a lot of USB-C accessories or want the AI features, look at the 15 Pro instead.

Who it suits: anyone who wants the Pro camera and screen without paying Pro money. It is also a great pick if you take a lot of photos of family and food and want the 3x zoom.

Availability in the UAE

Apple discontinued the iPhone 14 Pro in September 2023, the day the 15 Pro was announced. Apple never keeps the Pro models on sale after the next generation arrives, so new units have not been available in the UAE for three years.

Yes. The 14 Pro was the first iPhone with a 48 MP main camera. By default it combines pixels for sharper 12 MP photos, and you can shoot full 48 MP in ProRAW. It also has a 12 MP ultra wide and a 12 MP 3x telephoto.

Does the iPhone 14 Pro have an Always-On display and 120 Hz?

Yes to both. The Always-On display keeps the time, widgets and wallpaper dimly visible when locked, and ProMotion runs the screen up to 120 Hz, dropping to 1 Hz to save battery.

Does the iPhone 14 Pro support Apple Intelligence?

No. Apple Intelligence needs the A17 Pro chip or newer, so it starts with the iPhone 15 Pro. The 14 Pro runs iOS 27 and gets all the other features, just not the AI ones.

How fast is delivery in the UAE?

Delivery is free anywhere in the UAE. In Dubai it usually arrives within one day, sometimes the same day if you order early. For Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the other emirates, allow up to four days.

Can I return the phone if I change my mind?

Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to return it. Returns are not free: there is an AED 100 return fee, which covers collection and re-inspection. The phone needs to come back in the same condition, with everything that was in the box.

What does the 18-month warranty cover?

Our 18-month warranty covers hardware faults that show up in normal use, for example a speaker, camera or charging port that stops working. It does not cover physical damage like a cracked screen, or liquid damage. It is the longest warranty on renewed iPhones in the UAE, and six months longer than Apple's own one-year cover on a new phone.

What does Excellent Grade mean at Refab?

It is the only condition we sell. Excellent Grade means no visible scratches on the screen or body when you hold the phone normally, an original Apple screen, Face ID and every button working, and battery health of 90% or more. If a phone does not meet that, we do not list it.
