The iPhone Duo is the first foldable iPhone. Open, its 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR folding display is the largest screen Apple has ever put on an iPhone — 50% larger than the iPhone 18 Pro Max — in a body just 5.2 mm thin. Closed, the 5.4-inch outer display keeps the same aspect ratio, so apps fill the screen properly whether the phone is open or shut. This is a brand new, factory-sealed unit with a 12-month warranty.

The inner display is built from ten ultra-thin layers with a nano-texture finish that cuts glare, and both screens reach 3000 nits outdoors with ProMotion up to 120Hz. The frame and hinge cover are Grade 5 titanium, the front is Ceramic Shield 2, the back is Ceramic Shield, and the whole phone is rated IP68 — the same water and dust rating as the iPhone 18 Pro. Inside is the A20 Pro chip with vapor-chamber cooling and a dual-battery system rated for up to 24 hours of typical use.

iOS 27.1 is built around the fold: two apps side by side in Split View, a wider keyboard in portrait, a seated pose for hands-free video, and StandBy when it is stood up. The 48MP Dual Fusion camera adds three Duo-only features that use the outer screen — Smart Take, Duo Preview and Kid Cue. Unlike most foldables, the Duo does not ask you to compromise on durability: it is IP68 rated with a titanium frame, where Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold8 is IP48. Battery is strong when closed (44 hours of video on the outer screen) and reasonable open (31 hours).

Know the trade-offs before you spend. The camera is a two-lens system with 2x optical-quality zoom, not the 18 Pro's triple camera with variable aperture and 8x — if photography comes first, the iPhone 18 Pro Max is the better phone. The Duo uses Touch ID, not Face ID. It weighs 254 g. And at AED 8,499 to start, it costs AED 3,000 more than a 256GB 18 Pro Max. It is also Apple's first-generation foldable.

Brand new. This listing is a factory-sealed iPhone Duo with original packaging and Apple's USB-C cable in the box, covered by a 12-month warranty. It is not part of our renewed range.

Does the iPhone Duo screen have a crease?

Apple designed the inner display to be flat and smooth: it is made of ten ultra-thin layers bonded with optically clear adhesives that let the layers glide as the screen folds, which minimises stress and crease. A nano-texture finish cuts glare and reflections, and a scratch-resistant coating protects the surface.

Is the iPhone Duo waterproof and durable?

It is rated IP68 — water-resistant to 6 metres for 30 minutes and dust-tight — which is the same rating as the iPhone 18 Pro and stronger than most foldables. The frame and hinge cover are Grade 5 titanium, with Ceramic Shield 2 on the front and Ceramic Shield on the back. Liquid damage is not covered under warranty, so water resistance is protection against accidents, not an invitation to swim with it.

Does the iPhone Duo have Face ID?
