iPhone 18 UAE price: the short answer

  • iPhone 18 Pro: from AED 5,099 (256GB). On sale in the UAE from 18 September 2026.
  • iPhone 18 Pro Max: from AED 5,499 (256GB). Same date.
  • iPhone Duo (Apple's first foldable): from AED 8,499 (256GB). Pre-order 16 October, on sale 23 October 2026.
  • There is no normal iPhone 18 yet. The standard iPhone 18, iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2 are expected around spring 2027.
  • Prices went up: the 18 Pro and Pro Max cost AED 400 more than last year's 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max did at launch.
  • Older iPhones are not getting cheaper: Khaleej Times reported UAE market prices of iPhone 17 models rose AED 200–300 in the run-up to the launch, with shortages of the 17 Pro Max.
  • Smart alternative: a renewed iPhone 17 Pro or iPhone 16 Pro from Refab gets the same iOS 27 update, costs far less than a new 18 Pro, and comes with an 18-month warranty. Refab will also stock the iPhone 18 series — sign up to be notified.

Apple held its September event on 9 September 2026. It was the first one led by Apple's new CEO, John Ternus. Three new iPhones came out of it: the iPhone 18 Pro, the iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a brand-new foldable phone called the iPhone Duo.

This page tells you the exact price of each one in the UAE, when you can buy it, what actually changed compared to last year's phones, and whether it is worth paying full price at all. We sell renewed iPhones, so yes, we have an opinion on that last part. But we'll give you the facts first.

iPhone 18 UAE prices at a glance

These are the official prices from the Apple UAE store. All of them already include 5% VAT, so what you see is what you pay.

iPhone 18 lineup prices in the UAE (AED, VAT included). Source: Apple UAE store, 11 September 2026.
Storage iPhone 18 Pro iPhone 18 Pro Max iPhone Duo
256GB AED 5,099 AED 5,499 AED 8,499
512GB AED 5,949 AED 6,349 AED 9,349
1TB AED 7,649 AED 8,049 AED 11,049
2TB AED 10,199 AED 10,599 AED 13,599

For comparison, in the US the iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 and the Pro Max at $1,299. That is $100 more than the iPhone 17 Pro cost last year. In the UAE the jump is AED 400 per model. One small silver lining: AED 5,099 for the 18 Pro is what the 17 Pro Max cost at launch, so Apple did not pass on the full increase here.

If AED 5,099 is more than you want to spend on a phone, keep reading. There is a section below on what is happening to iPhone 17 and 16 prices in the UAE, and why a renewed one from Refab is the smart move right now.

What Apple launched, and what it didn't

This year is different. Normally Apple launches the whole lineup in September. This time it only launched the Pro models and the foldable.

Launched on 9 September 2026

  • iPhone 18 Pro (6.3-inch)
  • iPhone 18 Pro Max (6.9-inch)
  • iPhone Duo (foldable)
  • Also: Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5

Not launched yet

  • The standard iPhone 18
  • The cheaper iPhone 18e
  • The iPhone Air 2 (the current iPhone Air from 2025 stays on sale)

Reports from MacRumors and 9to5Mac say these three are expected around spring 2027. So if you are searching "iPhone 18 price in UAE" hoping for a cheaper non-Pro model, it does not exist yet. Right now your choices are the Pro, the Pro Max, or the Duo.

iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max: the specs that matter

Spec sheets are long and boring. Here is the plain-English version of what is actually new, based on Apple's own announcement.

A20 Pro chip

This is Apple's first chip built on a 2nm process. Apple says the CPU is up to 20% faster and the graphics up to 40% faster than the A19 Pro in the iPhone 17 Pro. The Neural Engine, which handles AI tasks, has been doubled. In real life you will notice this most in heavy games and Apple Intelligence features, not in WhatsApp or Instagram.

A camera with a real aperture

The main 48MP camera now has a variable aperture. Six tiny blades open and close to control how much light comes in, from ƒ/1.48 for dark rooms to ƒ/4 for sharp group photos. Apple also added manual controls for photographers and a feature called Apple Reference Image, which signs the photo data to prove it is real and not edited. The ultra-wide and front cameras were not changed.

Battery and charging

Apple claims up to 34 hours of video playback on the 18 Pro and up to 43 hours on the 18 Pro Max. Apple says this is the biggest battery jump ever on a Pro Max. Wired charging gets you to 50% in about 15 minutes. UAE models are eSIM-only, which is part of how Apple fitted a bigger battery inside.

Stays cool for longer

A new vapor chamber with three times the surface area keeps the phone cooler. Apple says this gives up to 40% better sustained performance, which matters if you game or shoot 4K video in a Dubai summer.

Smaller Dynamic Island, same Face ID

The Dynamic Island got smaller and can show three Live Activities at once. The rumoured under-screen Face ID did not happen. Face ID works exactly as before.

Colours, storage and connectivity

  • Colours: black, silver, glacier (a light blue) and burgundy (new this year)
  • Storage: 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and, for the first time on an iPhone, 2TB
  • Apple's new C2 modem and N1 wireless chip with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6
  • Same aluminium body as the 17 Pro, with a new colour-matched glass back

iPhone Duo: Apple's first foldable, explained

The iPhone Duo is the phone everyone was waiting for. It folds like a book. Closed, it works like a normal phone with a 5.4-inch outer screen. Open it up and you get a 7.6-inch inner screen, about 50% bigger than an 18 Pro Max screen. Both screens have the same shape, so apps do not stretch or squash when you open the phone.

What you get

  • A20 Pro chip and C2 modem, same as the Pro models
  • Two 48MP cameras: a main camera and an ultra-wide
  • Grade 5 titanium body with a hinge made of more than 100 parts
  • IP68 water resistance, weight around 254g
  • Dual batteries, up to 24 hours of typical use
  • Apple Pencil support on the big screen
  • Two colours: Star White and Night Sky

What you give up

  • No Face ID. The Duo uses Touch ID in the side button instead.
  • No telephoto camera. Zoom is 4x optical range and 10x digital. Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold8, which costs about AED 1,300 less in the UAE, does have a telephoto lens.
  • No variable aperture. That is a Pro-only feature.
  • Later software. The Duo ships on iOS 27.1, about five weeks behind the rest of the lineup.

Price and dates in the UAE

The iPhone Duo costs AED 8,499 for 256GB and goes up to AED 13,599 for 2TB. That is about AED 3,000 more than an 18 Pro Max. Pre-orders open on 16 October at 4pm UAE time and phones go on sale on 23 October 2026. The UAE is in the first wave of more than 70 countries.

Our honest take: the Duo is exciting, but it is a first-generation product at a very high price with a weaker camera than the Pro. If you mainly want a great camera and a phone that will last, a renewed iPhone 17 Pro Max at a fraction of the price is a much safer buy.

iPhone 18 Pro vs iPhone 17 Pro: what changed, what didn't

This is the question that matters most if you already own a recent iPhone, or if you are choosing between a new 18 Pro and a renewed 17 Pro.

iPhone 18 Pro vs iPhone 17 Pro. Sources: Apple newsroom, Apple UAE store.
Feature iPhone 18 Pro iPhone 17 Pro
Chip A20 Pro (2nm) A19 Pro
Screen size 6.3-inch 6.3-inch (same)
Design Aluminium unibody Aluminium unibody (same)
Main camera 48MP, variable aperture 48MP, fixed aperture
Ultra-wide and front cameras Unchanged Same
Face ID Yes, Dynamic Island (smaller) Yes, Dynamic Island
Video playback Up to 34 hours Up to 33 hours
Storage options 256GB to 2TB 256GB to 1TB
iOS 27 and new Siri Yes Yes
Apple UAE launch price (256GB) AED 5,099 AED 4,699

Look at the middle of that table. Same screen, same design, same ultra-wide camera, same Face ID, same iOS 27. Tech reviewers at Digital Trends, Macworld and MacObserver all landed on the same verdict: if you have a 17 Pro, there is little reason to upgrade unless you specifically want the new camera aperture or the extra battery. If you are coming from an iPhone 15 Pro or older, the jump is bigger.

Here is the part that matters for your wallet. The iPhone 17 Pro was a very good phone a week ago. It is still a very good phone today. The only thing that changed is that Apple stopped selling it new, so the renewed market is now the main place to get one.

What is happening to iPhone 17 and iPhone 16 prices in the UAE?

You might expect older iPhones to get cheaper the moment a new one launches. In the UAE this year, the opposite happened first.

In July, Khaleej Times spoke to phone traders in Deira's Gargash Market and Phoneline. They reported that prices of some iPhone 17 models had already gone up by AED 200 to AED 300, with the biggest jumps on higher-storage versions. One trader said the iPhone 17 Pro had moved from around AED 4,700 to around AED 4,900 in a few days, and could cross AED 5,100 if demand kept up. Another reported a shortage of the iPhone 17 Pro Max because so many people wanted to buy before the new phone arrived.

Why? News that the iPhone 18 Pro would cost more pushed buyers towards the iPhone 17 and 16 series instead. More demand, same supply, higher prices. The same traders quoted used iPhone 17 Pro units at around AED 4,200 and the iPhone 16 Pro Max (256GB) at around AED 4,000, and expected those to rise too.

What happens next is not certain. Traders told Khaleej Times prices "may come down slightly" after the launch, but nobody was promising it. What we can say is this: Apple has now stopped selling the 17 Pro and Pro Max new, and it has not sold the 16 series new in the UAE for a while. Supply of these phones is fixed. If you want one, waiting for a big price drop is a gamble.

What this means for you

A renewed iPhone 17 Pro or 16 Pro from Refab is still hundreds of dirhams below the AED 5,099 starting price of a new 18 Pro, comes with an 18-month warranty, and is available today. We keep this page updated as UAE prices move, so check back or sign up above to hear from us.

Does your iPhone get iOS 27?

Probably yes. iOS 27 came out for free on 14 September 2026. It brings the redesigned Siri with a new AI beta, more Apple Intelligence features, updates to the Liquid Glass design, stronger parental controls and new Photographic Styles.

Here is who gets what, based on Apple's compatibility list as reported by MacRumors and 9to5Mac:

iOS 27 compatibility by iPhone model.
Your iPhone Gets iOS 27? Gets Apple Intelligence and new Siri?
iPhone 18 Pro / Pro Max / Duo Yes Yes, top tier
iPhone 17 / 17 Pro / 17 Pro Max / Air Yes Yes (Pro and Air get the top Siri tier)
iPhone 16 / 16 Plus / 16 Pro / 16 Pro Max / 16e Yes Yes
iPhone 15 Pro / 15 Pro Max Yes Yes
iPhone 15 / 15 Plus, 14 series, 13 series Yes No
iPhone 12 series, 11 series, SE (2nd gen) Yes No
iPhone X, XS, XR and older No No

The key line is the iPhone 16 row. A renewed iPhone 16 or 16 Pro gets the full Apple Intelligence experience and the new Siri, the same as a brand-new phone, for a lot less money. One honest note for UAE readers: Apple Intelligence still does not support Arabic at launch.

The smarter UAE buy: a renewed iPhone 16 or 17

Here is what we think, and why.

The iPhone 18 Pro is a great phone. But most of what makes it great was already in the iPhone 17 Pro, and a lot of it was in the iPhone 16 Pro. Same screen sizes. Same 48MP main camera family. Same Face ID. Same iOS 27. The differences are real but small, and Apple is charging AED 5,099 and up for them.

Apple also no longer sells the iPhone 14, 15 or 16 as new in the UAE. So if you want one of those, the only way to get it is renewed. That is where we come in.

What "renewed" means at Refab

Every iPhone we sell is Excellent Grade. That is the only grade we sell. Each phone is inspected and tested by our team in the UAE before it goes on the site. Merly and the quality team personally checked 200+ iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 units this quarter. Anything that does not pass does not get sold.

Every Refab iPhone comes with:

  • 18-month warranty, the longest you will find in the UAE
  • Free 1-day delivery in Dubai and free standard shipping across the UAE
  • Only Excellent Condition devices — minimum 90% battery health guaranteed, and no visible scratches
  • Tabby and Tamara interest-free installments at checkout

There's a planet angle too

Most of an iPhone's carbon footprint comes from making it, not using it. Apple's own environmental report puts the iPhone 17 Pro (256GB) at 64 kg of CO₂e over its life, and about half of that is from manufacturing. A renewed phone skips that part entirely. A 2021 study of Dubai households by Heriot-Watt University found that 68.4% had never recycled an electronic device. Buying renewed keeps one more phone in use and out of a drawer.

Frequently asked questions

How much is the iPhone 18 in the UAE?

The iPhone 18 Pro starts at AED 5,099 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at AED 5,499, both for 256GB. The foldable iPhone Duo starts at AED 8,499. All prices include 5% VAT. There is no standard iPhone 18 yet.

When is the iPhone 18 released in the UAE?

The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max go on sale in the UAE on 18 September 2026, with pre-orders from 12 September. The iPhone Duo goes on sale on 23 October 2026, with pre-orders from 16 October.

Is there a regular iPhone 18?

Not yet. Apple only launched the Pro, Pro Max and Duo in September 2026. The standard iPhone 18, the iPhone 18e and the iPhone Air 2 are expected around spring 2027.

What is the iPhone Duo and how much does it cost in the UAE?

The iPhone Duo is Apple's first foldable iPhone, with a 7.6-inch inner screen and a 5.4-inch outer screen. It uses Touch ID instead of Face ID and has two 48MP cameras. It costs AED 8,499 to AED 13,599 in the UAE.

Is the iPhone 18 Pro worth it over the iPhone 17 Pro?

For most people, no. The screen, design and most cameras are the same. The 18 Pro adds a faster chip, a variable-aperture main camera and longer battery. The 17 Pro gets iOS 27 and the new Siri too. A renewed 17 Pro costs far less.

Are iPhone 17 and iPhone 16 prices going up in the UAE?

They rose before the launch. Khaleej Times reported in July 2026 that UAE traders had raised prices on some iPhone 17 models by AED 200 to AED 300 because buyers rushed to get older models ahead of the pricier iPhone 18. Apple no longer sells the 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or any iPhone 16 new in the UAE, so renewed sellers like Refab are the main source.

Where can I buy the iPhone 18 in the UAE?

From the Apple UAE store, e& and du, retailers like Sharaf DG, Jumbo, Virgin Megastore, noon and Amazon.ae, and from Refab, which will stock the iPhone 18 series with an 18-month warranty and free 1-day delivery in Dubai.

Yes. iOS 27 runs on iPhone 11 and later. Apple Intelligence and the new Siri work on every iPhone 16 and 17 model and on the iPhone 15 Pro.

Can I buy the iPhone 18 in the UAE with installments?

Yes. Tabby, Tamara and bank 0% plans are available at most UAE retailers. Refab also offers Tabby and Tamara on renewed iPhones.

Is it cheaper to buy a renewed iPhone in the UAE?

Yes. A renewed iPhone from Refab is a fully tested Excellent Grade phone that costs much less than new, with an 18-month warranty, a minimum 90% battery health guarantee, free 1-day delivery in Dubai and free shipping across the UAE.
